Returnly: Money Back is an independent purchase-return tracker for iPhone. Deadlines, prep status, and refund progress stay together so you can act before the window closes.
Inside the app you log purchases, triage At Risk items, work the Pipeline, finish Prep checklists, review Recovered refunds, and reuse Playbook steps for familiar stores.
Returnly is not affiliated with any retailer, marketplace, payment provider, or shipping carrier. Merchant names you enter are your own records.
Privacy
Your return records stay on your device.
Returnly is designed around local storage. We do not operate user accounts, and we do not sell your personal information.
This Privacy Policy describes how Returnly: Money Back (the “Application”) handles information when you use the app. The Application is provided by Noah Foster (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
1. Information We Collect
Returnly does not require an account, sign-up, or login. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or location inside the app to use the tracker. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
The following data is stored locally on your device only:
- Purchases you log (name, merchant, amount, return-by date, notes)
- Return status, checklist progress, and packing-slip text you create
- Playbook steps and store notes you save
- Onboarding preferences and sample data you choose to load
- Cached decorative product images loaded for list visuals
2. How We Use Information
Because we do not collect personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to profile, share, or sell. Features — At Risk, Pipeline, Prep, Recovered, and Playbook — operate using data stored on your device.
3. Data Storage & Retention
Your content remains in the app’s private storage on your device. There is no cloud sync and no remote backup operated by us. Deleting the app permanently removes associated local data from your device.
4. Third-Party Content
To show optional product imagery in lists, the app may request publicly available images from Unsplash when a network connection is available. Those requests do not include your purchase amounts, merchants, or return checklists. If imagery cannot load, the app continues to work with local placeholders.
5. Data Security
Your return records are protected by your device’s own safeguards. Keep your device locked and update iOS regularly. We do not transmit your return ledger to our own servers.
6. Children’s Privacy
The Application does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The tracker is intended for general audiences managing their own purchases.
7. Your Control
You can edit or delete any purchase, checklist, or playbook entry at any time in the app. Uninstalling the Application removes stored content from that device.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect app improvements or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the effective date above.
